We recommend that arrive at the airport well before the departure time so as to avoid any inconvenience. Plan to reach least one hour prior departure for all domestic flights and 3 hrs for all international flights so that your journey is smooth and hassle free. Check-in deadlines for our flights may also be obtained from us or our authorised agents.
Update - 21st July 2010 - As a consequence of recent directives from DGCA, airport check-in counters of Kingfisher Airlines at Mumbai / Delhi / Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Chennai / Kolkata will be closed 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure times. Guests booked on Kingfisher Airlines flights are requested to take note of this and report for check-in accordingly. Guests who do not report at the check- in counter in time, will not be allowed to board the flight
From our end, all efforts are taken to ensure a smooth check-in. The availability of multiple Check-in counters and the presence of efficient staff help reduce congestion, which translates into less waiting time at the counters and 'On time' departure of our flights.
In case of delay at the airport, we make all effort to minimize the inconvenience. Guests are offered refreshments in case the delay is more than one hour. In case of longer delays, Guests are offered meals either lunch or dinner as per the time and subject to the airport facilities and local infrastructure.
Now guests with hand baggage need not wait at the check-in counter to collect their boarding pass.. Deployed outside the Security check-in area will be Kingfisher Airlines' Roving Agent who will attend to these guests personally and book them on their choice of seats. Specially trained Roving Agents will reach out to guests and check them in using a mobile digital device and printer. Kingfisher Airlines was the first airline in India to launch this unique service.
